Liability Waiver

I have examined the rental equipment and find it in good condition. I realize there is an inherent risk with equipment use and that accidents can and do happen. I understand that the use of personal protective equipment is recommended and my responsibility. I have read and agree to abide by the rules, regulations and courtesies set forth in this rental agreement. I hereby assume all risks of injury and agree to hold Destination Cyclery and the Huron-Clinton Metropolitan Authority and its agents harmless from any and all liability and blameless from any accident or injury that may occur. If a person younger than 18 years of age will be a user of or passenger on the rental equipment (a "User"), I hereby agree to release, indemnify, defend and hold harmless Destination Cyclery and the Huron-Clinton Metroparks and its employees, directors, officers, and agents (the "Indemnified Parties") from any and all claims, demands, liabilities, damages, charges, fees, fines, penalties, losses, suits, proceedings, actions, costs and expenses (including attorney fees and court costs) that any such User, or I, may now or hereafter have against the Indemnified Parties resulting from or arising out of such User's or my use of the rental equipment.

RULES, REGULATIONS AND COURTESIES

IMPORTANT - Please read carefully.

WHILE BIKING

Stay on bike trails

Observe all traffic signs and signals.

Walk bikes across all intersections.

Keep right except to pass.

Warn others before passing

Yield to pedestrians.

Use Kickstand or Bike rack when parking.

Do not ride bike on patios or sidewalks.

No curb jumping, double-riding or stunting.

BIKERS ARE ADVISED TO WEAR PROPER SAFETY EQUIPMENT.

Report all accidents to the park police or Park Office.
